I'm currently in college where I major in socio-linguistics. I'm super passionate about foreign languages: I have so far acquired a decent level in English (I'll let you be the judge of that), I also speak Norwegian and I am learning Japanese.
I believe learning a language is the best experience ever, it's not just learning a skill, it's also about discovering a different culture and opening up new opportunities.
So far, I have taught both French and English and I love it, I learn a lot from the people I teach and I really enjoy seeing the progress overtime!
I've been tutoring in English here in France for 3 years.
I taught french for 2 years, in a classroom setting, to new immigrants.
I believe the proper way to learn is to emulate the acquisition process of a first language.
The brain is very good at picking up a concept when it has been exposed to it through different mediums. So I offer a method that associates different ways of learning to ensure things are learned efficiently and permanently.
This method brings the best results with total beginners. However, for more experienced speakers, I focus on conversational fluency and oral comprehension, it is the best way to reach a independent learning level, where you won't even need a tutor anymore!
Let me know what your goals are and we'll figure out, together, the best program for you.
