I have been teaching students most of whose first language is not English, for 2 years in a regular school setting and several years of more informal teaching before that.

I have worked at a summer camp for kids two summers in a row and was voted counselor of the summer by the camp directors and co-workers.

I am very passionate about teaching and love seeing the excitement of others as they learn a new language. I am a very hard worker and always ready to follow the instructions I received.

Every single person wants to feel comfortable when they are doing something especially for the first time and having a nice environment is one of the things I valued the most when I just start to teach someone. That is why I always like to start with a little introduction where the students can express themselves. Which of course they can do if they feel comfortable enough.

That also will allow me to see where I can help the students improve their ability. With that in mind, I will proceed with some very interesting conversation in order to explore such improvement that required my help.

When I am sure I understand the needs of the students, the areas that he or she needs to improve, what he or she wants to accomplish , I will know with what to start to help them be as efficient they can be.

But each Students required a different method. Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced I always try to have an idea about my students level and build around it.

I really care about the needs of my students and this will always be one of my priority as I teach them.
