My name is Thupten and I was born in Tibet. My father was a simple nomad in the eastern Tibet but he was my first teacher to teach me basic Tibetan language. In 2000 I came to exile in India and did my schooling in a monastic institute for nine years. Then I spend nine more years to study advanced Tibetan literature and Buddhist philosophy from Sera Jey Monastic University. I have also completed a four year long extensive English - Tibetan translation course.
I have served as the editor for the Tibetan school Magazine and has published many articles and translations in many magazines and other platforms. I have recently translated the international bestseller book <
1. Student-centric approach will be followed.
2. Will focus on both speaking as well as written Tibetan.
3. The initial class will be taught in English with the use of handouts.
4. I speak several Tibetan dialects but central Tibetan dialect will be followed.
