Experience

I have taught in many different places such as international schools, universities, private academies, chambers of commerce, administration institutions, privately One to One and groups and online. I have worked in countries all around the world such as The UK, Thailand, China, Spain and now Cambodia.

Teaching Approach

My lessons are dinamic.

With adults, one of my mostly used resource is the Callan Method where the teacher fires questions at the students and the students have to answer the questions with a long sentence. That is to say by repeating all the words in the question. Here are some examples:

"Do you like watching movies at home?
"Yes, I like watching movies at home" or " No, I don't like watching movies at home"

"Do you think it is a bad idea to go to England if you want to learn English well?"
"Yes, I think it is a bad idea to go to England if I want to learn English well?"
"No, I don't think it is a bad idea to go to England if I want to learn English well?"

This allows the student to get used to structuring sentences, by repetition but it helps him/her to get used to correctly formed sentences. Each lesson a different topic is chosen and new vocabulary is learnt.
