My name is Callum Finaughty and i am 27 years of age. I am currently travelling the world with my wife and our first stop is Daegu, South Korea. I was in construction for 6 and a half years and found my life to be stuck in the same routine everyday. My wife and i decided to pack our bags and make a change. I am very excited to teach English and to make a difference in somebody else's life.

I believe that you first need to feel comfortable speaking the little English you know. Through basic conversation you will build your confidence and feel more open about speaking. I have seen it for myself in Korea with the locals. Many of them do not want to answer you in English but as soon as they realise i can't speak Korean they begin to try, so many of them can suddenly speak full sentences. You need to build on concepts that the learner already knows and work from there.
