Having grown up in Saudi Arabia for eleven years, I am one of those Indians who have been fortunate to be exposed to Western Culture and expansive, global ideas since childhood. I grew up with and around English, playing video games since the introduction of 386 and 486DX personal computers, reading science fiction and fantasy stories, and attending the Indian International School, where I learnt everything with an English medium in an English environment.

I am a professional English language trainer, who has conducted training seminars, corporate workshops, and one-on-one training sessions with professionals, students, hobbyists, and English enthusiasts the world-over. I have trained Indians, Japanese, Taiwanese, South Koreans, Thai, Russians, Brazilians, and even Japanese-Americans in the English language. I have been a Publisher and an Editor, helping a publishing house release over one hundred e-books from the manuscript to the final release publication.

The core component of my teaching style is Listening to the Student. I believe this is one of the most important criteria that a contemporary teacher must possess. My sessions provide the student with a healthy majority of speaking time and I have become proficient at asking questions both on-topic and tangential.

The second component of my pedagogy is to encourage student participation via reading and listening exercises. The student must feel that he or she is receiving a hands-on approach to the English language, or any other subject concerned.

In the short duration that an online session provides, it is important to facilitate the student's active use of the language, rather than lecture him or her for half an hour.

Lastly, I employ topics that are contemporary, ranging from modern politics and scientific discoveries to medical technology, modern-day adventures, and life-lessons. My fourteen years of cumulative experience have shown me many teaching approaches and my style has evolved to be functional and fruitful to my trainees.
