I am a chemistry graduate from the University of Nottingham and I am currently exploring my career options. I enjoy teaching and an online role is an ideal opportunity to investigate this career path. In my free time, I like to volunteer in the local community as it is a great way to meet new people and make a valuable contribution.

I like to let the student take control of their learning and direct where they want the lesson to go. Every lesson will have certain objectives, but I will tailor the lessons to each students pace and specific needs. I think small informal tests at the end of each lesson or group of lessons is important as it gives me an idea of how I can adapt my teaching and it helps the student understand their level. I think visuals and relevant examples are also important for the students learning; it helps them understand the bigger picture.
