About Tutor

I’m Mon, from Barcelona, I have a Bachelor in Business Sciences from the University of Barcelona and I have a Master's Degree in Adult Education from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
I live in Switzerland since 3 years ago with my family.
I enjoy teaching, being in contact with people and analyzing their needs. I love the Spanish language and culture. And online teaching I think is a step forward in teaching as it makes distances disappear, extends timetables and reduces structure costs.

I have experience in teaching accounting and administration to company employees for some years.
And I've been offering Spanish tutoring classes for a few months now and and the students are progressing very satisfactorily.
I teach classes to Spanish and English speaking children with very dynamic classes so that they can learn by playing.
And I'm also giving individual online classes for adults adapted to the needs of each person. I am teaching students through conversation and topics of their choice. And other students according to the official method of the Instituto Cervantes (ELE), in Spain, and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Teaching Approach

I offer four training modalities depending on the needs of each student. Two of them are academic and the other two are free study. But I can see that the students prefer to converse and analyze grammar within a personalized and dynamic dialogue. They are more motivated and it is true that they are progressing very satisfactorily.

The academic online classes with individual practices as based on the recommendations of the Council of Europe and on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference. It consists of a few hours of theory with examples of practice. But in order to assume the level required by the exam, you have to repeat the exam and do more individual practice on your own. In this case they are less hours of classes and, therefore, less cost of teacher.

The academic online classes with joint practices are the same as the previous ones, with a format according to the European Framework, but with more hours of practice and study with the teacher.

The free content study classes contain a grammatical format, but the learning is done freely based on the student's subjects of interest, with activities more adjusted to the student's preferences according to their age, social environment and/or studies than to the strictly academic ones.

The tutorials to follow the learning of Spanish through self-training is a mode of learning in which the student studies on his own. Offers online support and tutoring for monitoring practices and exercises, to clarify doubts, correct errors, make recommendations, etc... It’s possible to sent to review written activities, videos or audios, as well as corrections and responses.
