Conversational English

I believe the key to being conversational is knowing how to ask good questions and being able to answer some yourself! My favorite way to practice this is by asking the student questions like, "What is the food you dislike the most?" I love the answers I get to this question! Young or old, everyone always has such funny stories or expressions of disgust and it really sets the tone for learning more about people.

English for traveling

Living in South America has made it possible to talk to many people who have traveled many different places and everyone has always had the same regret. They wish they would have been able to communicate better with locals, even I feel the same way! So I like to go over the basics with my students, everything from basic etiquette to knowing how to order at restaurants!

Having English friends

Having friends in your target language is the best way to improve but I'm sure you've noticed that sometimes, the English your friends speak can sound a bit weird. Have you noticed that words suddenly seem to blend together? Or that conversations seem to start in the middle verses the beginning? Is so, I'm here t help! I like to use this time to help my students learn about slang and even a bit on English culture .
