English is my native language. I was the editor of my College Newspaper, worked as a Copy Editor at United Press International and in the field of Broadcast Journalism as a reporter and anchor for more than a decade.

I've always enjoyed reading. Today, creating narratives and storytelling are major components what I do as a Communications Consultant and Transitional Coach. It's important for my clients to understand the journey that we are about you take when they engage my services so that I may produce the desired results and exceed their expectations.

Experience
I've been working with teen and adult literacy programs for more than 20 years. Additionally, I've had the opportunity to launch a Writing Lab at a Vocational School to assist students with reading, writing, and comprehension. There's an awesome sense of pride and joy that students feel when they have conquered their fears and learn to read.
Teaching Approach
My approach would be hybrid; I'm both a demonstrator and facilitator. I believe it's important to use multimedia tools, activities, and demonstrations while at the same time helping students to develop critical thinking skills, ask questions and retain information.
