About Tutor

My name is Cecilia and I am from Buenos Aires. I am a Certified Spanish Teacher for Foreigners (ELE) and have been teaching for over 10 years now. I also have a degree in Spanish and Communications.

I speak English and Portuguese, and I´m learning Italian now, which gives me a better perspective about the difficulties and advantages each student may have so I can design their learning scheme as efficient way as possible.

I love travelling and meeting new people. I´ve been part of a travelers network for 10 years now, that allowed me to get to know people from different cultures, ages and nationalities. Organized some social and sports event through it, here in Buenos Aires and abroad.

My passion for the Spanish language began as a child as my mom is a French Latin and Spanish teacher herself so very early I learned the particularities of this field. As I grew old I was able to make this passion my profession and become a teacher myself

I have experience teaching adults of all nationalities and levels (A1-C2) in different schools supported by Salamanca University. I have done group classes, one to one classes and online classes as well as preparation courses for DELE - CELU - CEI exams, Business Spanish, conversational and many other Spanish Courses for Foreigners.

Teaching Approach

I like getting to know my students, not only because that way I can design the best way for them to learn, but also because making them feel comfortable is the key to really grasp and enhance the knowledge

I offer dynamic and laid back classes, but at the same time committed and lively, that include homework from class to class and of course a test level before initiating, so I can be sure how much you know and start from there. We can focus either on grammars or vocabulary; make it more conversational or more written, according to your needs

I think a language is not only the way we speak but also how we are. That´s why I´d love to share mine with you, using my culture as a tool. Let´s meet and see how much fun we can have while learning a new language!
