Hi! I'm Shimei. I am from South Africa and have a unique combination of accents however mostly neutral. I love cooking, reading, playing guitar and singing when I'm not teaching English!

Experience
I have around 4 years of experience tutoring school aged kids in a variety of subjects, among which was English. I recently started teaching online and it has been a wonderful experience so far!
Teaching Approach
I believe one needs to learn a language the way one needs it. By this I mean that it's easier to learn how to greet someone when that is what you'll be needing to do or how to order from a restaurant if you're going out. Necessity is the mother of invention - or rather of learning!
