About
Hello! My name is Arturo Cortez Jr! I am 28 years old and I live in Palmhurst, Tx. I was born in the US, but spent my early years living in Mexico. I moved to the US at the age of 14. I like reading and writing poetry, playing guitar and playing with my pet. Teaching languages has become one of my career passions! I am able to empower others through teaching! Communication is key and learning more than one language opens so many possibilities in today's world.

Experience
I have been teaching and tutoring since 2015. I have covered subjects such as English, Spanish and College Writing. I have worked for companies such as Chegg Tutors and Verbling. I've also worked for other outside-of-the-US companies such as Eigox and Mentorphone.
Teaching Approach
I have learned a bond between the teacher and the student is crucial for an efficient learning experience. This is why I try to make myself as approachable as possible so the student feels comfortable enough to participate and ask many questions about things he/she didn't fully understand.
