I have taught students that did not know any English. Depending on their goals, I can help a student gain a basic skill set in English.
Reading and writing English
I have taught graduate students majoring in Business skills that are necessary for their field. This includes vocabulary and building their professional profiles.
English lifestyle and culture
I have created lessons that help tackle a few of the cultural barriers that many face when speaking English. There are many ways to answer a simple, "Hi, how are you?", and I include all of the answers and more in my lessons.
About
I am in my final semester of university, where I am earning my Masters in Linguistics, with a focus in ESL education. Teaching English to foreigners in the US and others abroad is my passion. Teaching Approach
I prefer to cater each lesson to each student (with individual lessons) and like to add American culture to the lessons. I take on a communicative based approach and encourage students to work on all skills (speaking, reading, writing, listening).
