I worked with a Haitian Organisation for 4 years teaching children from 6 to 12 years old(2013 - 2017) with a TEYL approach combining Total Physical Response and the use of flashcards, objects, songs and videos designed for kids(I've personally got them).
More time, more materials and concentration plus a lot of fun!
I am very patient with beginners and always make sure that I start with the most basic skills, assess and look after students’ progress throughout their study.
I am currently working on getting an associate degree in Business and Enterprise from an English-speaking country online and I have experiences teaching business English at vocational schools in Haiti.
I put more emphasis on speaking both formal and informal.
I currently work at Bridging Hearts Institute which is a school run by Americans. I am also translator and interpreter for American people.
A lot!

Teaching is my passion! I am a patient, methodical, and resourceful Haitian Creole, French, and English teacher. I like to provide rich and relevant materials to my students. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Applied Linguistics from the State University of Haiti and I am currently completing my Bachelor of Divinity and my Associate of Business and Enterprise degrees at Christian Leaders Institute In USA (online). I also received 2 certificates in Childhood Education and Teaching Adult Learners from Open University in Australia.
I am a native speaker of Haitian Creole. I have been involved in the field of teaching for more than 10 years (since my high school) working with students from various countries ranging from kids, young and adult learners. I have experiences teaching Haitian Creole, French, and English at all levels including elementary, high school, and vocational institutions. Also, I give private English classes especially to people from Haiti and Africa.
I am very flexible when it comes to my teaching approach. I always tailor my lessons according to the age and needs of my students. However, I like to prone an interactive approach in general. I emphasize the four skills every learner should acquire in learning any foreign language such as speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I always strive to keep my students interest high and make it fun.
