I am a dedicated Christian that is married. I am a mother of two adult children and have two grandchildren. I love children. I enjoy teaching and learning. One of my greatest enjoyments is helping someone succeed in learning.

I started teaching children in Sunday School which led to summer camps, morning care and aftercare, preschool, homeschooling my children while they were in middle school, sixth grade, kindergarten, and 1st grade. Oh the joy of learning to read in kindergarten and first grade. As part of a Hispanic Outreach while doing short term mission work in a small church in Erie, Pennsylvania; I taught English to Spanish ladies.

A few things I enjoy are reading, writing, swimming, and karate. I had participated in a few Christian karate groups. I have two big cats and a black and white Chihuahau. While growing up, I enjoyed riding western and English so I have an admiration for horses.

I was born in Massachusetts and live most of my childhood in Westover Air Force Base and Otis Air Force Base. Most of my youth and adult years have been spent in South Florida. I enjoy the beach and the woods. I now live in a small rural town in Okeechobee, Florida.

I like to encourage each student to reach their fullest potential. I assess their need and implement a plan to meet their goal. I am a diligent and conscientious in communicating with the student and those involved in their learning goal at hand.
