English lessons for children

I conduct online English classes for small kids and I am very patient while teaching them and don't mind explaining the same grammar rules again and again till all my students understand the rules properly. I believe in quality education. I do recapitulation and conduct regular tests to ensure that they have understood well. For students of age group 4 to 7, I conduct classes in game or quiz format.

English for beginners

have taught English to people who hardly knew the language. I started by making them familiar with the basic words (nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc) and then proceeded to the formation of smaller sentences. After a few days, I encouraged them to form longer sentences. Students are encouraged to speak on topics that they have interest in, so that they don't feel bored.

Conversational English

My pace and procedure depends on the level of English known by the student. I generally start with small sentence formation and with time go to more complicated conversations. We discuss about things that the students have interest in, so that they don't feel bored.

English for traveling

I stress more on the verbs than the vocabulary so that the learners can easily communicate with other people. After a few days I work on their vocabulary also.

Having English friends

I have studied in Sophia college, Mumbai, where we had students from all over the world and I had an opportunity to be close friends with them

Reading and writing English

As a student, I was a Writer's club member in our school and my writing was also published in our school magazine. Till date I enjoy writing poems and also write small scripts for my school plays.

About Tutor

tudent's satisfaction is what I seek.

English is not my native language but it's India's official language. So, I can speak English like a native speaker and I also know the difficulties and challenges of learning a new language. Being a teacher in an I.S.A CERTIFIED SCHOOL (by British council) and having trained award winning students for inter school competitions, I know how to motivate the weak students to perform well and how to bring out the best in bright students. Join my online classes for learning a new language or for improving your academic results and make your learning experience easy and fun.

Bengali is my mother tongue and the first language I ever learnt and speak everyday. I also know Hindi very well as it is our national language and the most commonly used language among friends and people in general.

I love teaching languages online, as in the process I also get to know so much about differebt cultures and countries. My classes are more interactive and is a platform to exchange knowledge, rather than simple teaching. Though I am a master in Economics, I love conducting online Spoken English, Hindi and Bengali classes for students as well as professionals.

Experience

I have been teaching Maths, Science, English Language and English Communication till std 9 for 6 years. I also received the prestigious TEACHER'S AWARD in 2014. I have been teaching online for more than 5 years now to students of all age group with equal ease. I have students from different parts of the world and I personally love the experience of teaching and all my students are also satisfied with my approach.

Teaching Approach

We will have simple conversations which people normally have in their day to day life and then go to more difficult conversations. I like listening about the culture and history of my students as I know there is so much to know about this world. I also explain the grammar rules wherever required and do practice exercises. Daily conversations, grammar rules and practice exercises along with answers are given in a word file format.

My class pattern depends on the needs of the student and I have taught conversational English to people from different countries and I have been successful in teaching people of all age groups. During the class, I stress on pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary.
