Irish lessons for children

I have helped many children attending Irish primary schools to improve their Gaeilge. I focus on correct pronunciation of words. We also focus on speaking. We have basic conversations talking about the child's interests through Irish. I give an exercise or two to the child to complete before our next lesson.

About

I am a Gaeilge and French trainee teacher from Ireland. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in both languages from the University of Galway.

I am now completing a Professional Masters in Education in Gaeilge and French. I am completing my school placements in a Gaeltacht (Irish speaking) area.

    Experience

    I have seven years of giving language lessons to children, teenagers and adults.
    I have helped adults to learn French and Irish on a casual basis.
    I have helped adults with the TEG (Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge) exams from A1 to C1.
    I have helped adults with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) exams from A1 to C1.
    I have helped teenagers prepare for exams in both languages.

Teaching Approach

Lessons are tailored to each individual students needs.
My lessons focus on the four main areas of language: spoken, written, reading and listening.
I provide lessons using zoom.
Lessons can be 45 minutes or one hour in duration.
