I have taught many Spanish people who are starting to learn English.
About
I am Dominican but I grew up in Spain, so my native language is Spanish. I studied English Filology at university and then got an MA to teach English and Spanish as Second Languages at the same university.

Experience
I have been teaching both English and Spanish for almost two years at an academy in Spain, and before that I used to tutor kids and teenagers in different subjects (Latin, English, Spanish, Spanish literature...).
Teaching Approach
My approach is student based; that is, I try to focus on the needs and goals of the students during the lessons. When teaching English to Spanish speakers, I also try to put the focus on pronunciation because the pronunciation of the English language is usually difficult for Spanish speakers.
