I'm Nico.
I've been teaching Italian and Spanish since 2014 and English since 2019.

Experience
In May 2021 I have acquired a Cambridge Celta, which is a certificate to teach
English to speakers of other languages and I received a "Pass A", which is only awarded
to the top five percent of all trainees worldwide.
My expertise in teaching is both for adults and young learners. About the latter, I graduated with a PGCE, which is a Postgraduate Certificate in Education.
This allows me to teach 11 to 18 years old students in a secondary school setting.
Since March 2020, I started to specialize in online teaching via Zoom.
I use an external tablet as a digital whiteboard and this allows me to annotate the screen dynamically providing the students with a much more interactive, clear and pleasant experience.
Teaching Approach
I believe in using a communicative method and I enjoy free conversation.
I choose my topics according to the needs of the students: travel, business, leisure and so on.
I also try to use and include as much authentic resources as possible, like podcast, newspapers, cinema reviews etc.
I give constant feedback on meaning, form and pronunciation to ensure that the students are progressing and that they are not fossilizing on mistakes.
